Smaller buildings and structures can be demolished manually with heavy sledge hammers or through the use of mechanical equipment and bulldozers.
Larger structures may even require the use of a wrecking ball which is swung by a crane. Other specialized motorized equipment is sometimes required to excavate or break through wood, steel and other materials.
